Photo Challenge: Focus

This post was originally going to be about how I don’t capture pictures out of focus. The more I wrote my rough draft about how I tend to take a big picture perspective including ALL of life around me in the near foreground as well as the far background in a sweeping landscape shot –the more I gave reasons for keeping crisp pixels– the more I challenged myself to try something new. Thus I discovered settings on my Galaxy 7; the one which fit this particular assignment was ‘Selective Focus.’ So now I’ve added awareness to my use of this particular camera, able to keep some of the object in focus and some of it blurred. It may not be bokeh, but it’s a stage up from my previous unenlightenment.
