Does somebody know I take pictures of these things?! How do they do this???
A month ago, we were visiting the Lake Geneva area. On the opposite side of the lake likes the town (this is the truth; you can Google Maps it) Fontana-on-Geneva Lake~ Fontana for short. It’s true: that’s really its name. And at the entrance to the Abbey Harbor, spanning the channel, lies this bridge. It was redone a bit ago and now includes this fancy ironwork. Native Americans originally inhabited these shores, so the metamorphosis of the boat from front to back is fitting. The pioneers of the locale lead the way; modern tourists follow behind.
It’s not the San Francisco Bay Bridge or in Oxford. It’s in a tiny town with only a few thousand year ’round residents. But this is classy and fits the flavor of the lake perfectly.
