You would barely know a Great Lake sits to the left, the way dense fog engulfed the landscape. Last week I met a friend at this beach for a Walk & Talk, but I hadn’t come since June. July sent flood waters to our area (not nearly as widespread as Houston is experiencing), so I would guess the surging power rammed across the beach and rushed to wipe out the road. Pavement layers became exposed, showing how quickly H2O can be a damaging force. Natural and man-made layers are what this week’s photo challenge picture boasts.
